Your memory journal, filled in together.

A trip, a birthday, a family reunion: everyone adds their photos and voice notes. Nara lays it all out, and it is still there in ten years.

    How it works
    What a photo leaves out

A memory is more than an image.

You do not remember a moment through an image. You remember it through a voice, a song that was playing, the place, the light at that hour.

    Together, for real

One link to open. That is all your people have to do.

A Nara is a group memory: a weekend, a wedding, a summer. You drop the link into the group chat, they open it, they add their photos. No account to set up, no album to create, nothing to sort.

The memory writes itself as it happens.

A trip, a birthday, a weekend or a family reunion: you capture together, in the moment, then you put the Nara together when you are ready, at your own pace. No more 600 photos nobody ever sorts.

    01 · In the moment

Everyone drops in the same place

A Nara opens on its Dropzone: the shared space where everyone drops what they captured. Photos, videos, voice notes, written notes — you empty your pockets in the moment, without sorting anything.

    • Camera, gallery, voice, note: four ways in, one gesture.
    • Everyone drops in the same place, at the same time.

You keep the best, Nara tidies up

Items come through one at a time: you swipe each onto the “Keep” or “Discard” pile. A few minutes covers a whole day.

    • What you keep goes to the layout, photos and voice notes together.
    • No album to build by hand: you open it, it is already laid out.

    Flashback

In ten years, it will still be there.

A chat thread scrolls away, a story lasts 24 hours, a camera roll changes phones. A Nara stays: the place, the date, the voices of everyone who was there. A year later, Nara brings back a moment nobody had to archive, and everyone relives it together.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Nara free?
Yes, entirely, and with no advertising. Nara does not resell your content and does not live off your data. If a paid plan ever arrives, it will cover extra features: what you have already created stays accessible.
Do the people I invite have to install the app?
To add their own photos and voice notes, yes: that is what makes a Nara fill itself instead of resting on one person. In practice, all they do is open the link you send in the group chat. No album to create, nothing to configure.
How is this different from a shared Google Photos album or a WhatsApp thread?
A shared album stacks up files; a chat thread buries them within two weeks. Nara keeps the context that makes the memory: who was there, where, what was being said — and lays it out on its own, as a story you can play back years later.
Is it only useful for trips?
No. A Nara works for anything lived together and retold afterwards: a birthday, a wedding, a Christmas, a family reunion, a festival, a club season. A trip is simply the most obvious case.
    Who can see my memories?
Your Naras are private by default: only the members you invite have access, and you stay in control of who joins. Your content is never resold.
What exactly does Nara keep from a moment?
The photos and videos, the voice notes, the place, the date and whatever you wrote about it. That is what lets you find, years later, not just the picture but the voice of the person who was talking about it.
Which phones is Nara available on?
iPhone and Android. A Nara fills up with everyone, whatever phone each person carries.
